David A. Wilson
Elected in August 2003, Dave has lived in Sackville for 33 years. Prior to being elected he had worked in the community as a paramedic for 8 yrs.
MLA for Sackville-Cobequid for almost 5 yrs. His Critic area is Health.
Dave sits on several committees in the House of Assembly

In addition to the valuable contribution he made as a front-line health care worker, Dave also contributes to the community through his volunteer work with local organizations. His local involvement includes:
- Volunteered as a firefighter with the Sackville Fire Department and with HRM Fire and Emergency Services
- Has held several key executive positions with the Sackville Volunteer (vice-chairman) Firefighters
- Educates local elementary students and local Boy Scout / Girl Guide groups on the emergency health system
- Volunteer for the Remembrance Day Poppy Campaigns
- Volunteer for the camp day at local Tim Hortons.
- Volunteer for the Nova Scotia Firefighters Burn Treatment Society
- A supporter of charities such as the Cobequid Community Health Centre, Beacon House, IWK Children’s Hospital, Heart and Stroke Foundation and Big Brothers and Sisters
- An associate member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Calais Branch 162, Lower Sackville.

- Received Diploma in Paramedicine at School of Allied Health – School of Emergency Health Services at the Victoria General Hospital , Halifax
Dave and his wife Penney have two young children a son, Jacob and daughter Taylor.
